An experienced dog trainer, Pearlie has spent years working with dogs on both obedience and specialized skills, blending patience, consistency, and a deep understanding of canine behavior. She graduated in 2007 from the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming, though she has since retired from professional grooming.
Pearlie also served as a veterinary technician at the former Cherry Hill Veterinary Clinic in Rubicon, Wisconsin, where she gained hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of animal care. From managing the boarding kennel and assisting with routine appointments to preparing medications and assisting in surgery—her personal favorite—Pearlie developed a well-rounded expertise that continues to benefit the animals she works with today.
Now, Pearlie offers pet and house sitting services throughout Southeast Wisconsin, from Fond du Lac to Watertown to Oconomowoc. At home on her small farm, she raises Saanen dairy goats, bantam Cochin chickens, and a variety of fancy pigeons, which she also shows competitively. Active in several local pigeon clubs, Pearlie has even fostered and rehabilitated lost pigeons that members of the community have found.
A firm believer in the health benefits of raw feeding, Pearlie crafts raw diets for her own animals and enjoys helping others learn about this holistic approach to nutrition. In her spare time, she continues to study herbalism and other health-related topics, furthering her knowledge to better care for the animals she loves.
