Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Blackberry Point Haven cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Adoption Fees range from $150 to $850

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Blackberry Point Haven cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Blackberry Point Haven dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.) age appropriate
  • Distemper, Parainfluenza, Adenovirus Types 1 and 2, Parvo
  • Negative Heartworm, Age appropriate
  • Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
  • Bordetella
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered, age appropriate
  • Micro-chipped
